Writing Projects

Ruth Valentine is an experienced writer, and has produced a number of non-fiction works, for various target audiences. These include the history of one of the Edwardian asylums that served London, researched from various archive sources and interviews with staff and patients: a vivid, highly readable account of a complex institution, the politics of mental health, and the lives of people who were connected with it over almost a century.

Ruth is available to design, write or edit oral history projects, organisational histories and other publications.
